I grew up attending early childhood music classes in Boston, and discovered how easy these classes made it for me to learn new instruments, and even new languages.

Now, I'm bringing this opportunity to Porto!

What is Family Music with Ben ?

I teach early childhood music and language education classes designed for children and their caregivers.

These singalongs help develop musical aptitude and foundational English Language skills.

What I offer

Our mixed-age music classes provide a rich learning experience for children of all ages and developmental stages. In every session you will find:

  1. A variety of musical activities tailored for young children

  2. Award-winning music spanning different styles and cultures

  3. Opportunities for children to explore instruments and movement

  4. A supportive environment that encourages parent's participation

In Class

No musical experience required – just a willingness to have fun with your child!

  • Class Duration : 45 minutes, conducted in English and Portuguese

  • Course Length: 10 weeks (4 weeks for summer course)

  • Age Range : Birth through five years old

At Home

We give parents the tools and confidence to support their children’s musical development at home.

  • Illustrated songbook for at-home music-making

  • Access to online resources to continue the fun between classes

  • CD or digital access to class music for practice at home
